Mr. Talton has over 7 years of experience in State and Local Property Taxation, primarily with the Big Four professional service firms. During his tenure, he has been a Complex and Industrial Properties Practice team member for KPMG LLP, Deloitte and Paradigm Tax Group.

With his overall knowledge and experience focused on manufacturing and industrial properties Mr. Talton brings a complete skill set to the table for companies who have heavy investment and complicated filing positions. He has the background and understanding of how to work hand in hand with clients to ensure that any strategies that are implemented fit with the long range plans and goals set forth by the client.

Along with traditional property tax minimization and tax incentive strategies, Mr. Talton is often engaged to assist clients in identifying, certifying and maximizing pollution control tax benefits. He also has significant experience in abatement and industrial development bond reviews which has lead to significant wins for companies on both securing refunds and future tax benefits.

Mr. Talton has worked for two of the major accounting firms, representing national clients in tax compliance, consulting, appeals and audit defense work. He has also developed specific initiatives and tax savings strategies within the automotive, chemical, and high-tech industries.

Mr. Talton graduated at University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BA in Sociology. He currently is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and has completed a number of IPT courses.
